Typically IT IS a wallpaper. A huge shot of awesomeness in every single pixel. I know it may look like an abuse of bright colours, but it's fine. As long as the vectors are fitted by some contour transparency into mists, neons and tribals. The vectors are average. This is a Fluttershy (or Two Fluttershys) looking just like in this super lovely animated movie series. Seems like cheap Flash screenshot, huh? But thanks to the way you placed them on pic was worth it. Because not much of this gradient background would simply allow to show up main subject of the art. Fluttershy has unusually imbalanced colours of coat, mane and tail. A bit of mistake in background colours would ruin everything. But once again I see this mistake was avoided, because the vectors are smooth outside the edges. This simultaneously extracts vectors from the background (which is as I said important for originality and focus of theme) and disallows them from collision with background. The major drawback of this is in fact use of some colours. I do not like orange. I don't know why, but just NO. Though something else could appear "far away" from picture. Black colour just makes me sad. This pic brought my memories back about all I knew about MLP universe. And I still don't know why I keep forgetting it, I love ponies much, especially Fluttershy. But that's ok, because now I see Fluttershy and you made her great. Wanna see moar if I can.
I did like this piece of imagery. You combined bright colors with an interesting starkness to great effect, and your fluttershy vector is amazing. After first glance, though, it seemed a little dull, and I could not bring myself to change my wallpaper, even though I was tempted at first. I love the right background, you managed to combine the colors and sweet tranquility that fluttershy usually possesses, and make it a rather brusque, in-your-face style while still retaining the feel on the colors and personality. the one on the left was nice, brings to mind space exploration a bit, and her expression does nothing to dampen that feeling of discovery. The bottom felt a little repetitive, but was still rather nice. All in all, I'd rate this a 6.0.
Good work though, I can't wait to see what you have next!
